Temp files - Get rid of them
Temp files can cause problems just by being there!

SUMMARY Getting rid of temp files

Many programs add temp files that are left behind after install. Also your printer will also leave behind temp files on occasion. Sometimes these temp files will interfere with the way the program will find the file it is actually looking for! Therefore it is a good idea to clean these "old" files from time to time.

Procedure

Start > Find > Files or Folders (Highlight and Enter)

Type  *.tmp  - and search the C: drive (the * is a "wildcard" to find all)

When it finds all of the tmp files - Highlight them all and delete them.

Empty the recycle bin when finished.
